A mid-tone silvery grey, Pilot is a beautifully restful and airy shade that brings depth to walls when used in place of a traditional white. Pilot Teams well with a cool white such as British Paints Tiger White, a cool pale grey such as White Albatross or a deep charcoal grey such as Portal Grey. A combination of light and deep greys will add a clever design element that won’t overwhelm. Pilot will work especially well in a north-facing space where the light is typically warmer and more flattering. A room with cooler southern light may accentuate the paint’s bluish undertones, so you may prefer to choose a warmer grey in those spaces.
